Disclaimer: This isn’t a list or story on how I survived finals. Just a little reflection. 🙂
Before transferring to a four-year university, I took classes online at a local community college… I didn’t really experience finals until this semester.
Needless to say, I was a little stressed out. My study sessions were sporadic and I seemed to only study when I felt like it. I know I scored at least an 80% on my exams, but I could have gotten A’s. Next semester, I’m planning a study schedule weeks in advance.
Besides the stress, I observed a lot of funny things on campus this week. I could walk into the student union at any time of the day and there would always be someone sleeping in some uncomfortable position. Everyone walked faster. And the line for Starbucks was dauntingly long.
I’m already looking forward to finals next semester and finding out what scores I can earn when I efficiently manage my time.
But for now, I’m just going to decompress with the internet and a Chai Tea Latte.
